Credit card statement PDF to Excel, totals checked.
One row per charge, refund or payment, with the card's previous balance + charges − payments compared to the new balance printed on the statement. Works for 8 issuers.
| Date | Description | Out | In | Balance | Check |
|---|
Issuers: DBS / POSB, OCBC, UOB, Maybank, HSBC, Citibank, Standard Chartered, American Express. Bank accounts are on the main converter.
Charges and payments, separated
Purchases go in the Charge column, payments and refunds in Payment / Credit, whether the statement marks them with CR, parentheses or a minus. Posting and transaction dates are both kept when the issuer prints both.
Checked against the statement
Card statements have no running balance, so the check is on the total: previous balance plus charges minus payments must equal the new balance. If it doesn't, every row is marked so you look before you import.
Ready for your books
Export as Excel, CSV, Xero or QuickBooks CSV, or as OFX / QBO so the card imports as a feed into Xero, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage, Wave or MYOB.
Card statement questions
Which cards exactly?
DBS / POSB: Altitude, Live Fresh, Woman's, and other DBS/POSB cards. OCBC: 365, Titanium, FRANK and other OCBC cards. UOB: One, Lady's, EVOL, Platinum and other UOB cards. Maybank: Maybank and Maybank Islamic cards (Malaysia). HSBC: Revolution, Advance, Visa Platinum. Citibank: Cash Back, Rewards, PremierMiles. Standard Chartered: Smart, Simply Cash, Journey. American Express: Platinum, Gold, True Cashback. Other issuers often work too; try one and you're not charged if it fails.
What about foreign currency charges?
The billed amount in your card's currency is what goes in the sheet. The original-currency note printed under the line is kept in the Details column.
Multiple cards on one statement?
Supplementary and multiple-card statements are read as one list; the Statement sheet shows the primary card. Per-card splitting is coming.
Is the file stored?
No. Same as bank statements: held in memory, deleted before the download starts, nothing from inside it logged.
